Rama 9 is conveniently connected to the city’s underground mass transit system, with MRT Phra Rama 9 and MRT Thailand Cultural Centre just a stop away. The neighbourhood is also connected to the Phetchaburi-Asok Intersection leading to Sukhumvit Road, with a road linkage to Lat Phrao Road and the Rama IX Expressway. The Makkasan Airport Rail Link is also nearby, providing easy access to Survanabhumi Airport.

It’s no surprise that Royal City Avenue is the epicentre of the clubbing scene in Bangkok. Rama 9 has no shortage of nightclubs with the legendary Route 66 and the megaroom-style Onyx admired by the young crowds. Heavy on EDM music and live music bands, RCA Live is a revived addition to the family. Show DC is an indoor entertainment complex that often holds live music concerts, and for those looking for a laid-back atmosphere, ZOOK Rooftop Bar boasts a picturesque backdrop and some creative cocktails to sip.

The dazzling Siam Niramit Show is hosted in a colossal 2,000 seat Ratchada Theatre, recreating the magic of Siam’s cultural roots and brilliantly capturing the traditional performance in a 90-minute show. Thailand Cultural Centre is home to the cultural arts – where concerts, stage plays, and exhibitions are often held. One of the first 3D art museums in Bangkok, Art in Paradise exhibits cool interactive art and optical illusions. The area ensures fun-filled activities from a massive indoor trampoline park at Bounce Thailand, to unwinding sessions at Bangkok’s Float Center and NongBon Water Sports centre.
